Tall guy on a plane
Hi i am a very tall guy. I am 6’2” tall. I can fit perfectly on a seat with 32” pitch. 35” is extremely good for me How about 31”? 30”? 29”? 28”? I want to know if i need to buy a extra legroom seat

I'm 6'0 and under 30" seat pitch, when recline is allowed, is a no-go for me on flights longer than 2 hours.
If you're flying cross country in Y, try and fly Jet Blue. |
I'm 6'4" on a 33 inch inseam on my jeans, I don't actually know what my exact leg length is but that's a good proxy. That matters because we're not all proportioned the same! At my height, I can fit 31" JUST. So you should be fine. I do NOT fit 30". Hope that helps.

I am 6' with a 32" inseam. 30" pitch is the very minimum.

The answer is Yes.

I'm 6f 8 inches, hence my callsign / username. If in doubt pay/book the fire exit door or if you can afford it, book business class.
Though as a side I feel normal, and kind of blend in when I'm connecting with KLM through Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. :-) |
If you can "fit perfectly on a seat with 32” pitch", I would think your estimation of how 1, 2, 3 fewer inches of leg room would affect your fit would be a better estimate than data from others of varying body proportions.

As 6’3” male, I find 17” seat width more bothersome for shoulders than 31” pitch for knees |

Have to agree with most of the posters that this varies much more than your height. Not only your inseam, but how you tend to sit (how much you slouch when at rest). At 6' 0" with a 34" inseam I have no trouble technically "fitting" in a 30" seat in that I can set my feet flat on the floor and legs are extended straight if I sit erect. I find psychological space restrictions from being next to strangers and lack of variety of positions in which I fit to be the most uncomfortable things about Y, so I more or less avoid it for anything over an hour or two.
