England for me, fall of 2018. For a variety of reasons I have cut WAY back on travel . Around 2013 or 2014 I was doing something like 200,000 - 250,000 miles a year. Probably barely a tenth of that now. AA even called my office a few years ago to see whether I had fallen in love with another carrier.

Germany.
As detailed in my latest trip report (link below) I took a massive risk and connected in Lagos, Frankfurt, and Munich while desperately trying to get home.

Not counting Canada as a "foreign" country (yes,Canadians,I know...but we *are* very friendly neighbors) it would be South Africa (2017).

The best way I've described India to people who've never been there is as a complete engagement of all your senses on a very intense and visceral level. It's fascinating, marvelous, energizing, stimulating...and can be completely overwhelming and exhausting for someone who isn't prepared for it.
But I love it and can't wait to go back and visit additional regions I haven't been to before. It's one of the places in this world that feels truly foreign to me, and that's why I crave it.
Back to this thread: my most recent international trip (from the U.S.) was to northwest Ireland, Madrid, and Lisbon. Homeward route was LIS-BOS, so I guess to be specific Portugal is my answer for this thread.
