Hey that's my picture from a 2011 Trip Report I wrote, I'm famous! That was the old United 757-200 PS configuration and you did get a full exit row safety briefing while seated there.

AA used to operate DC-10s where row 1 was considered an exit row, I remember seeing BPs with "EXIT" printed on them.

That's the one! Wow that takes me back, I used to fly those to and from Hawaii in the 1990s.
