Has anyone ever flown Bahamasair from Cockburn Town (ZSA) to Deadman's Cay (LGI)?

A few times, but only because it's a multi-leg flight NAS-LGI-ZSA to fill up the larger planes. Actual LGI-ZSA traffic is essentially nil. I wouldn't necessarily classify it as an 'unusual' pairing, though, as the islands are almost neighbours.

Bahamasair flights tend to be quite fluid. There used to be NAS-GGT-SML-LGI flights, and even FLL-SML-LGI trips, before airport security 'concerns' (lack of infrastrucure) shut them out of Stella Maris. It makes sense to add another stop on another island if you can't fill up the Dash-8s.

Last week I flew r/t CNX Chiang Mai to PYY Pai with Kan Airlines. Cessna Caravan w/ 12 of us plus 2 pilots for a 30 min flight. By air/road more or less a 50 min trip...although by road expect it to take 3-5 hours.

Agree. I flew Madrid to Basel on easyjet during the 2010 volcanic disruptions which didn't strike me as an obvious route and there are far stranger ones out there.

For example, a quick look at Bologna airport on Wikipedia shows that Ryanair flies between there and Charleroi

That's odd. Each time I've flown that route (in either 767 or 777) the aircraft has been full.

Canberra-Wellington, starting soon on Singapore Airlines. It's also the only international flight (aside from Singapore) in CBR, but it's slightly less bizarre when you realize that while both cities are small, they're both national capitals.

NCU-ABS (Nukus, Uzbekistan to Ashbgabat, Turkmenistan)
PNH-VTE (Phnom Penh to Vientiane)

Since I'm usually stuck in coach I try to always do a night flight with a chance of falling asleep. One strategy that works for me is to switch airlines. I had a month where I went to italy, Australia and to italy again and I ran out of things to watch.

I didn't fly the route, but I once had an open, first-class Delta ticket from Las Vegas to Chimbote, Peru. I'm not sure how they planned to get me there, as Chimbote has no scheduled air service.

This was back in the day when half an unused award ticket could be exchanged for an open ticket good for one year. The ticket was issued by the LAS ticket counter. I'm not sure when I caught the error, but when I did Delta was more than happy to allow me to exchange my ticket to CHM for a ticket to CMH, which was where I was supposed to be going in the first place.

I'm a slave to star alliance. Only time I haven't used them is flying within the Middle East or South America.
