Hydration drink for Flyers !

Wondering how many of you guys will like to have a beverage specially designed for the High Flyers ? I am working on a natural beverage which will take some of the kick off the Jet leg. Not a sugar or caffeine laden drink, but something more healthy packed with nutrients. Will you like this in soda OR juice OR flavored water style ?^

How would this differ from a sports drink? (Not referring to Gatorade which is sugar heavy)

Are you thinking of a powder that is mixed in a liquid you buy post security? Or a drink you consume at home after the flight? Or are you going for broke and not only developing a new drink in an already competitive market but also one that airport shops would sell?

I like it when an independent body has done double blind testing vs a placebo to prove that it's not snake oil

Non-alcoholic beer. I'm not kidding. In Germany it's advertised as "Isotonic Sports drink"

Something like this: http://www.appenzellerbier.ch/en/bee...alcoholic.html

In grand scheme of things, you are right ! Now, you don't sweat when you fly, correct ? You can use sport drinks, but they are not designed for it. Its more like apples and oranges. What you need is a customized energy boost designed to specifically target jet lag symptoms. Now, we all know the perfect solution... not to fly at all ! But, that ain't happening either.

actually, water works just fine. On a long haul flight where I'm most likely to be prone to dehydration, the last thing I want is some energy boost product. I want to sleep.

That's cute. I'll remain with the sceptical ones who don't buy every snake oil potion.

Sure you sweat, AND it evaporates quite quickly due to the low humidity.
If you didn't, you wouldn't get dehydrated, right?
