Aisle access or flat bed

A general preferences question. If you had to choose between one or the other in Business class, would you prefer to have a true lie flat bed, or have aisle access from any seat but with an angled flat bed?

Flat bed all day every day.

MSPeconomist Jun 10, 2015 4:14 pm

I'm spoiled by having both on DL.

Aisle access or flat bed

All quality business class products offer both. I would not accept one over another but would book a different flight or carrier they offered what I expect as a minimum.

Depends on the length of the flight, and the time of day. Basically, full flat if I'm likely to want to sleep, aisle access if not.

Aisle Access.

I detest human interaction much more than sleeping at a slight angle

Full Flat Bed every time .

Aisle access - so dictates the bladder!

Aisle access. I much prefer the angled individual pod type seating.

rankourabu Jun 10, 2015 6:41 pm

Flat bed.

How many times am I gonna get up? Once, twice? I can deal with stepping over someone vs sliding down a seat (like crap AA or LH biz seats)

acvitale Jun 10, 2015 6:46 pm

Aa is going all flat bed with aisle seats now too.

Tchiowa Jun 10, 2015 7:18 pm

I always get both. If I had to choose, it would be aisle access.

Catbert10 Jun 10, 2015 7:26 pm

Day flight - aisle. Overnight flight - flat bed

MSPeconomist Jun 10, 2015 8:13 pm

NEVER a business class cabin with middle seats; 2-3-2 or even 2-4-2 is horrid.

TravelerMSY Jun 10, 2015 8:37 pm

Those UA middle biz rows are awful. Uncomfortably close even when you know your neighbor.
