Anyone hear about this? Saw a few ads for it on Flyer talk. Read a bit more into it and if its legitimate, I'm surprised a search on Flyer talk revealed nothing about it.

I sent off a letter to United [email protected] and got this response, They want $20 per ticket receipt, that will be more than the settlement.
Any Ideas on how to get United to send either electronic or paper list of flights taken?
To process receipt requests past seven days from the last travel date, there is a charge of $20 per receipt request per person.
Please log in www.United.com and follow the instructions below:
- Sign in with your Mileage Plus account and PIN.
- On the toolbar, select "Reservations" > "Change/View Existing Reservations"
- Then click on "Request A Past Receipt" and fill out the pertinent information needed.
Please note, only one passenger will be listed per receipt. Receipt requests will be processed within 10 - 14 days. Your delivery options for receipts are web, e-mail, fax and postal mail. All receipts will be delivered via the same delivery option.
Should you need additional assistance in processing your past date receipts, please contact us at 1-800-864-8331.

pies of receipts.Hello and thank you.
yes I did ask for a list of all flights and award travel and that was the response I received.
I will try again, I am just hoping that someone here has been more successful and have been able to get the list without the cost.
Thank you for your reply
Robert

oh great... guess I'll have to figure out how many TPAC flights I've taken since 2000. that's going to be a lot...
I sure hope I don't end up getting $1 per flight.
(while the lawyers get several million dollars for their troubles)

Keep in mind that in these kinds of settlements the passengers usually don't get money. They get discount coupons and often the coupons are restricted so that you can only use them on high fares. Which makes them worthless. But the lawyers still get their cut.Originally Posted by AppleApe

happy to report that checks were mailed out yesterday (17 march). fingers crossed that we get at least a few bucks for each claim.
Just received two checks today: $322 for me and $126 for husband. More than I was expecting, but apparently some people got much more. The payout apparently ranged from pennies for some airlines (Malaysia, Air NZ) to hundreds from others (JAL).
I only had one flight. Originally booked on NW but was moved to JAL because NE were overbooked. I got a check for $1,600 in 2022.
I got an email saying there was a second distribution that would be sent in mid-February. Anyone receive a second check?
