+1

I'd add - "at an affordable price"!

Once one has committed to a particular "system", in my case AA and One World Alliance--unless they aren't treating you well, AA is my favorite:).
As an Executive Platinum (requiring 100K miles of flying), I get upgraded a lot, go to the top of the list when I'm requesting standby.

Based on this years travel, which was mostly long haul J, in order:

CX
LX
US
BR

Yes. US above BR. Same seat, Good IFE on both. But the BR inflight service was kind of uncoordinated. US FAs were friendly, attentive and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I realize that isn' what one expects from US, but that was my experience, this year anyway!

United.
Because I live in Denver. You have to pick an airline, and in Denver there's no other choice. Anywhere I ever have to go has a non-stop United flight.

If you were a prisoner in a North Korean labor camp, and the only food was tree-bark soup with corn husks, would that then be your favorite food? Because this is a thread about favorite airlines.

Sun Country's affordable F for domestic travel--I live in Minneapolis-- and NH for travel to Asia. My trips to Europe as an adult were on United and Icelandair, so I don't have a favorite for TATL trips.

However, I like E+ on UA and the free Iceland stopover on Icelandair.

Besides, any airline that takes me to my destination safely, I have 2:

EK, love the suites and showers and the convenience of the car.
BA, am used to it. Feels like an old favorite couch.

I prefer Westjet to Air Canada every time. However, the only option to fly locally is AC.

To be blunt, I'd rather drive to Calgary and catch a WJA flight anywhere.

Of all that I have flown on so far, Singapore Airlines is my favourite. Unfortunately living in Australia means that the routes are not the most direct and can many many hours to a trip.

On the ones i've traveled recently:

1. Etihad - great food, good IFE, new planes
2. Lufthansa - ok food, decent IFE
3. Air Canada (to Europe) - decent IFE, ok food...

SQ is my favorite (great food and service), all the other ones I like are gone (went bankrupt or was taken over), sadly.
