The Worst Lounge in the World

Had to think about this a bit, but the last time I was at MHT I was directed to "The Granite Room", which is sort of reminiscent of a small doctor's waiting room. Couple of chairs and a TV, as I recall.

The Worst Lounge in the World

Before the new JHG airport came in, they had a "VIP" room which sounded similar - although the room was falling apart anytime anyone went near it. Didn't have A/C or ventilation of any sort either.

Good old China

Oh easy...the 'BA' lounge at LVI in Zambia...

Tiny, cramped, no air-con. Easy!

Haven't been in this one, but the worst lounges that I have encountered are definitely in Africa. - Kinshasa and Douala both spring to mind.

BA Med used one in Teheran that lacked many amenities. I think that was the worst I had experienced. CX old lounge (2000) in LAX reminded me of a doctor's office waiting room, not comfortable at all.

The Clipper Lounge in the international termination in CCU. Terrible, hot (though surprisingly tasty nibbles).

The business class lounge used by KL, EK and some other carriers in Lusaka, Zambia. It was small, cramped with crush-velvet couches and love seats, no air conditioning and stale cheese sandwiches. Unfortunately, it was late a night and the South African Airways lounge was closed, which looked nice and quite spacious.

The "lounge" at Entebbe, Uganda with no windows and zillions of mosquitoes at dusk.

My Mom: "if you can't say something nice..."

But I digress-coming out of DEL into LHR on BA a few years back with plat status I was invited to a "lounge" of sorts- BA can't say which one, it was not the FS lounge which I was paged to(excited but they were(only) returning my passport which I had left at check-in/amazing how you can transverse all security lanes without passport(!)) but was nondescript with one attendant, coffee service and rolls. That was it except for shower facilities which I would be hard put to use.
Anyone ID this lounge?

I just remembered the shared 'lounge' in Kabul. Just a bare room with a few chairs, scattered about.
