On the flip side, grabbing a bar seat at Gary Danko when they open around 5PM after having flown east-west transcon and landing mid-afternoon. Early dinner in SF when my stomach says feed me. Followed by an Irish coffee at the Buena Vista.
Alternatively, breakfast at Bar Pinotxo in BCN of salchicha, ensalada and cava. |
On the flight- coffee with Baileys

As a Brit with usually little access to such delicacies - a pulled pork sandwich from Corky's at MEM

Coffee with Baileys on the plane. :)

From the wall of snacks in the gift shop, I always buy two for $8 to save that extra buck and a half over the single price.

Seeing the smile on my husband's face when I emerge from the gift shop with lots of bags of peanut M&M's. :)

Sleeping diagonally in the bed! (And no snoring to listen to.)

Climate control. We don't have AC at home, so when I am in a hotel I use it to the fullest. Usually keep the room at 60º when I am in.

I almost always have a McMuffin before early flights. I get sad if I don't have time/there is no McDonalds (lookin at you, LGA)
|
Why have I never thought of coffee with Bailey's? This sounds like such a relaxing way to watch a movie/get ready for bed on the plane!
Thanks, folks! |
Definitely a ginger ale - every flight. If in F or C, Bailey's after dinner.
|
Double Woodford Reserve, rocks in separate glass.
Bailey with coffee. I never drink these at home and have never paid for a bottle of Woodford nor Baileys |
