I'm curious - does everyone find that the Kindle glare/reflection is any different from the window shade issue?

Its always good to remember that an airplane is "common space" and to all do our best to be considerate of others.
If all else fails you could upgrade to the fire... problem solved! :D |

In my experience, my Kindle doesn't "glare" as much as other tablets and e-readers, especially when using the lighted cover that is made for it: http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Kindle-...0443329&sr=8-4

O. Planes with adjustable lights , I'd move the light a bit to avoid the glare.

"I'm sorry, I can't turn the light out. I am reading." Put in earplugs. Go back to reading. If they had asked in a polite manner, I would try to wiggle the light a little and pretend I was adjusting it. But I'm going to keep reading my book. It's a long flight, I'm not going to just sit there and stare into space because some witch with a b is a ninny who forgot to bring an eyemask.

Nope. It is NOT problem solved. The classic Kindle holds a charge for over 15 hours. I've never had it run out. Kindle fire holds a charge for what? At most 4 hours?
Why didn't the idiot upgrade to an eyemask, which costs a buck or two at the most and doesn't inconvenience others? Why shouldn't the idiot be considerate of the fact that our hero is trying to read and doesn't want to listen to her unreasonable gripes? Being considerate is a two way street.
