Curly hairs on the bathroom floor and tub
|
Dirty shower curtain liners. UGH!!!!!

My pet peeves...
1. No phone book in the room. 2. No ashtray in smoking room. This happens more often than not http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif George... |
1. Charges for 800 # calls.
2. Lousy TV channel availability. 3. Hotels that are using Sept. 11 tragedies as excuse for cutting services. |
No batteries in remote. This really is based on theiving room guests, but it's still a peeve.
A non-smoking room with "that smell". Having to beg for rightful benefits. |
Soap, soap, and more soap!
And I don't like having to move the nightstand so I can find the outlet behind it and plug my laptop in. |
My biggie, Coffee not replaced or replaced with a second decaf. God I need my coffee in the morning!!

1. Like QuantumLeap I really don't think an argument should be necessary to get what the program offers.
2. I agree that some of the TV remotes in Hampton Inns are due for replacement. 3. Stop charging for toll-free calls. |

How about a big gap between door and carpet, so you get to hear everybody talking/walking down the hallway? And doors that self-close with a slam? The Doubletree San Jose is a good example in both cases.

I doubt that anyone else feels this way, but I hate the mirrored doors on the closet right if it is right by the door. I mean, do you know how many times I have walked into my room and scared myself!

It can look like a light is turned on with the light from under the door reflecting off the mirror. ------------------ Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else. |
Originally posted by FlyByMike: I don't like having to move the nightstand so I can find the outlet behind it and plug my laptop in. A related one that I've found in some rooms is that the most convient free outlet in the room (which I want to use for something that must not lose power for even a second) is on the switched outlet (which is never labeled, so I have do experiments to find it). I want the light switch just inside the door to only work a lamp near the door, not the outlet pair furthest away from the door! Now that I've complained, let me say what I really do like in this category: I've had a couple Hampton rooms where the desk had both an AC plug and a "data" phone jack at one end.
