help with checkin please!
 

I tried to search on FT but couldn't find an answer. I apologize for the long message. I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

Please help me! I need help with checkin for tomorrow's flights:

I booked this itinerary on AF web site:

DTW - AMS on DL metal with KLM flight number (already flown)

9 hour layover

AMS - VCE on KLM metal with KLM flight number (already flown)

10 days later (the flights in question)

FCO - CDG on Alitalia metal with AF flight number (tomorrow's flight)

2 hour 45 min layover

CDG - DTW on AF metal with AF flight number (tomorrow's 2nd flight)

So, I have an AF ticket number for each of us(though I see 2 ticket numbers for each of us now on AF when I look up the itinerary. But one funny thing was that I can only find the itinerary on AF when I search using the DL reference number which I got from trying to search on delta.com with the AF reference number and it also gave me the DL reference number which I then used at the AF site, which pulled up the itinerary, because it could not find it using the AF reference number.)

I called AF asked for English operator, and I think got a Delta agent who said checkin at the Alitalia counter because they operate the flight, but when I called Alitalia I was told to checkin at the AF counter because it is an AF flight number.

Optimally, I want to get boarding passes for both flights when I am in FCO. Also I want my baggage to be checked through to DTW.

SO MY QUESTION IS:

Where do I check in (with luggage) tomorrow at FCO? (Alitalia desk, AF desk, Alitalia kiosk, AF kiosk)

I cannot check in on AF web site (it can't find the reservation details etc), but the itinerary appears on DL web site. When I click to try to checkin at DL web site, it takes me to AF web site, but I cannot check in. The conditions for online check in at AF web site say that AF flights starting in 9 (like my flight) cannot checkin online. So I can't check in online apparently at AF site.

I cannot check in on Alitalia web site, because it says it is not an Alitalia ticket number.

Go to the Alitalia counter when you get to the airport.
