Buying Round Trip Immigration Ticket
Hello,

My wife is going to Bulgaria to bring back her 13 yr. old son to the U.S.. Finally approved by immigration.

Can I buy a round trip ticket for both of them from the U.S and use only the return portion on his ticket for him?

Or does he have to travel from the U.S. first?

If he doesn't use the outbound from the US the whole ticket would be cancelled.
So yes, he would have to fly out of the US first.

You would just have to buy a one way from Bulgaria.

You could always look into purchasing a round-trip ticket starting in Bulgaria. That may save you a few dollars over a one-way fare even if you no-show for the "return" portion.

Thanks, that's just what I did. One way is double. That's the way I brought my wife from BG with round trip.
