What is a "DO"?
 

I've been on this board for about three years, and I still can't figure out what a DO is.

I can't search for it because it is such a generic word. Also, I think the search engine here requires a minimum of three letters in a word.

At the top of the FT home page is a "Help" pull down menu. One of the choices is a "Glossary." On the "Terms Starting with 'D'" page is a definition of DO or Doo, which is a larger (usually more than 12) gathering of FTers in a social setting.

I'm curious too. They seem to happen somewhere, sometime. Are they by invitation if they exist?
