Best choice: Austrian or Luftansa
We'll be flying to Croatia in April, and could use points to travel business class first to Vienna with Austrian Airlines, or to Frankfurt with Luftansa. Surprisingly for me, I don't have a clear recollection of either in terms of service, comfort on overnight flights and lounge amenities. Any feedback would be welcome.

Where do you start your journey?

welcome to flyertalk. It would be helpful if you reveal where you are traveling from.

Austrian does not have a first class service, and both LH & OS fly only C/Y cabins to ZAG.
FRA has plenty of lounges (access depends on status and booking class)
VIE has some lounges (2 x Biz lounges, 2 x SEN/*G lounges - especially SEN on Pier A can be pretty crowded during rush hours)
ZAG has 1 *G/Biz lounge (rather tiny and not really what I would call a Biz class lounge).
Cheers

I've flown LH and OS several times, but only business class once on LH, which I thought was adequate but no more. FRA I've found is OK to connect through, VIE one of best to connect through. Haven't used either airline's lounges. My general impression is that LH is good, OS is better, and if could choose, I'd try out OS business class.

Are you sure that F is an option outbound of YYZ? I checked with ITA Software (http://matrix.itasoftware.com) and lufthansa.com but I can only find C class tickets for the YYZ-FRA leg.
