Time to allow for customs

I will be traveling from Cancun, Mexico in March 2010.
How much time do I need to allow for customs when returning to states?

thanks!

Hi Maroland and welcome to FT. In order to give a better answer to your question, we need more info. How are you traveling (by plane, cruise ship, Mexican burro?) and when are you going (both time of year and time of day?)

With that info, folks can probably give you a good idea of what to expect, barring something unusual like bad weather.

When flying from Cancun to the US, you'll go through customs in the US airport. The amount of time depends on the airport and time of day.
