People have been using this program for 11 years now (as this thread proves), without any security problems. If you are concerned about the safety of the program, I would suggest you to run it inside a virtual machine (using Virtual PC or VMWare player) - this is what I do when I run software of questionable origin :) |
Thank you so much dragon17c, and I mean it: we, frequent flyers, are all indebted to you for your countless efforts to keep this wonderful tool alive and up to date!

Dear cockpitvisit,
I wish to use your tool and data for scientific research. I use your data to draw maps of geographical time-space. My question is: how to cite your work? Is this correct "Data from website (I am not allowed to type the url here below 5 posts) visited in February 2019" What else could I add? Best and thanks for your tool and data Alain L'Hostis |

As for my part, "data from http://arm.64hosts.com" is perfectly fine. I prefer to stay anonymous and not be named in person :) |

This app is really cool.
One question, as a curious developer... How hard would it be to add flight numbers to the routes? Are there any central repos for flight number data? |
Even if it were technically easy, you would likely have lawyers from the likes of OAG breathing down your neck.
For this reason, I (as the original author) intentionally didn't include any timetable data or flight numbers. The purpose of the app is to show you all possible routes you can fly (it was inspired by OAG Flight Atlas, which is no longer being published). Once you know the route, it should be easy enough to look up timetables for that route. There are commercial flight databases out there (like OAG, FlightAware etc.), but they will probably want your arm and your leg to use their data. |
A new version will be released in early June
Updated: *All European Airliners *More FFP you can choose to view *Some routes updated *Removed some bankrupted airlines Due to my flight radar silver program is expiring soon and I have no intention to renew it, I decided that I will take a short break, but you can expect another updated in December. |
