I love Flight Memory and have just renewed my subscription to Premium for another 2 years. ^

Is there a good database for international flights, particularly LH flights.

Does flight memory accept forwarded emails with flight details (like Tripit) or do you have to input each on their website individually?

Love this idea but as a frequent business traveler, am looking to minimize time.

FlightMemory only takes manual input, there is no automation via e-mail or anything. That being said, it is quite quick to input one flight, roughly 30 sec per flight.

What are the advantages of the premium version versus having a flightdiary account on top of the free flightmemory ?

You get additional stats, ability to filter your view based on year, airport, aircraft, or other metrics, and you can compare your stats to other users. It's not the greatest value proposition but I enjoy the extra features and still hold out hope that the site will see enhancements one of these days.

I'm surprised so many still use FlightMemory, I find Flight Diary infinitely better.

Just too lazy to move all data from flightmemory to Flight Diary.
Any good tools ?

I believe Flight Diary has auto import function from Flight Memory, or at least it did when I made the switch.

Flight Diary can import from OpenFlights, but not directly from FlightMemory

So far, no tool to get all data from flightmemory ?

steveman518 Nov 17, 2017 1:39 am

If you log into openflights you can import to there from flightmemory. Click on import and the directions should pop up. I believe it involves saving your flightmemory pages at html documents and importing those into openflights. It's a bit roundabout, and it's probably the easiest way since flight diary only takes csv files as imports and there's no real way to export flightmemory data as a csv. Considering that flight diary only lists two methods of imports if you check, there isn't really any other great options that I'm aware of.

Dang, I never realised that there is actually a premium version. Must be blind! Will have to go and check it out now...

Thank you for posting the link to www.flightmemory.com^ ^ Have always wanted to track my flights, seeing that I've kept all my tickets and boarding passes since the age of 12...Am not one to collect, but for some reason have kept all my flight stuff. Have an entire box full of tickets, boarding passes, amenity kits and menus. After 10 hours of transcribing my flight data, came up with the followering;

-Flight Distance in KM: 1,035,488 or 643,422 Miles
-Booking Classes: F-65, C-47, Y-264
-Total flights: 376

I would imagine this figure would appear small along side of the many other Frequent Flyers on this site...

Incidentally, just scrolling through the earlier posts on this thread and wondered how big your box has to be to include that many boarding passes, menus and amenity kits!

It's well worth paying for. You get no ads, double the maps, and your Top 10 lists become Top 20 and they add some lists too. I renew every year.

Site's down. Really hoping this isn't permanent.

Any of the paying members get an email or anything?

Working fine for me.
