Agree. But I do wonder why ZoneAlarm asks me if MileTracker can accept connections from the internet. Why does it need to do this? What is it trying to do? So far there is no compromise of functionality when I simply click "No." |
Well, I have been using NationalCity Bank's account aggregator for my US banking, credit cards and miles. So far so good.
https://myaccounts.nationalcity.com/ Not sure if you have to have an account with them..didn't bother reading the T&Cs. |

GG Also have my bank accounts, Ameritrade/ETrade (which is cool as it shows all my holdings itemised), all my credit cards (with activity and balances) and airlines and hotels. Anyway, take a look. Edited to add: Just logged in, if you select Account Summary for the Travel section, you get a listing of all your accounts plus details of the account. Details vary by airline but its a reasonable selection. |

For ease of access and full compatibility with Windows, Mac, Linux, and any other system (as long as it has a web browser), I recommend Yodlee OnCenter. It is web-based, so you can reach it from anywhere. Another major benefit is, not only can OnCenter keep track of all your miles and points, but it can also track all of your financial accounts as well - banks, brokerages, credit cards, loans, bills, etc. A very handy and time-saving tool, and it's totally free. You can store the usernames and passwords for all of your online accounts (so you can look them up if you forget them), and Yodlee will automatically update all your balances every day. It's fully encrypted and secured - I've been using it for more than 3 years and have not had a single security problem. Anyway, that's my recommendation. :) No, I don't get any benefit by recommending them; I just like their service, and it's free. I enjoy Yodlee, thanks for the idea! |
Yodlee seems great so far. . . have to keep testing it out and recalling all of my passwords.

mileagemanager.com
I'm still rather partial the the original mileage manager. Yodlee has no actual frequent flyer knowledge or other information that can help someone actually manage their miles, while mileagemanager.com has all sorts of alerts and stuff that can help. I'm fairly partial to the mileage expiration alerts since because of what i do i tend to have miles and points all over the place and usually end up with some distant ones i frankly forget about from time to time.
The idea that you were afraid to have your accounts on a Web site seems to have dissipated over time since it's now more likely that with worms and trojan horses, the threat of your account number and PINs is more in danger of things stored on your own computer and of course they don't work when you might want to access from other machines or when traveling , etc. Anyway, my two cents and yes, I'm a bit biased. |
One more vote for yodlee. I have been using it for years too. I love it.
I check activities on my bank and all my credit cards every morning. I go into withdrawal when the site is down for maintenance on Sunday morning. I tried Quicken but gave up after a month. It was easier for me to manually keep a little spreadsheet of my balances and checks/payments outstanding. I have: 2 banks 1 mortgage 7 credit cards 9 brokerages 11 airline programs 7 hotel programs registered with them. My yodlee password is a mile long but it sure beats the alternative... |
I use Yodlee OnCenter. Its free, its online and its the best available ^ . I've been using it for more than 4 years. I used to work for Yodlee in Redwood City CA until sometime back.
Not only rewards and points... you can also register all your financial accounts, insurance accounts, bills, emails, news and more. Best of all.. all your financial accounts are insured for free. |
eWallet
I also use Yodlee very extensively and think it is excellent, so another vote for Yodlee. Citibank also has a Citi branded Yodlee application that is available for free to Citibank customers. Another tool I use almost every day is the eWallet from Illium Software. eWallet is a little application that securely encrypts and keeps track of all your website passwords, frequent flyer account numbers and pins, and whatever else you choose to put in it, in easy to organize electronic file cards. It can synchronize with your PDA so you can have the information wherever you go. It is not the best app for tracking mileage balances per se, because that basically involves manual input on your part, but it is great at what it does. This is the eWallet website, http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/ew/ewallet.htm, eWallet costs $20 or $30, depending on which version purchase, but it is well worth it. A free trial is also available.
DAC PS I'm not associated with Illium Software in any way. |

The most frustrating thing about Yodlee is that it is a great service but it doesnt support many of my accounts. |

Does anyone have a version of an excel spreadsheet that tracks credit card signups. Such as: When Signed up, How many days to get spend, amount of spend, Categories and rewards, Annual Fee.
If you do would you PM me and help me out, I really dont want to start from scratch on this if someone has something they share. I use reward wallet to track all my miles but I need something for the credit cards. |
Which mileage tracking website is best?
Amongst what appear to be the top three mileage tracking websites including AwardWallet, MileWise, and GoMiles, amongst those who use one of them, why do you consider it to be the best for you ?
Input would be appreciated Worldspan |
Could we add TripIt Pro to this list for the Amex Plat cardholders?
