Multiple Blackberry Enterprise accounts on same BB

I just switched my BB Enterprise account from one service to another. It activated just fine on the new service, but for some reason the old "desktop" entry for the old service is still on my BB. I can't send or receive with it (obviously), but it still shows up as a option when sending email.

How do I get rid of the old one? I tried a battery pull, but it's still there.

This is on T-Mobile.

Thanks....

Take a look under Email Options. The old account should be listed. You also may need to go into Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table and do a Register Now and maybe enven a hard reset, remove battery while the device is on.

go to Options > Advanced Options > Service Book and delete the duplicate service book from there.

From one service to another ... what do you mean? Different carrier? Different plan?

No, same carrier, same plan. I just moved my enterprise hosting from one 3rd party service to another.

Tried the service book route, but both services are called "Desktop", how to I tell which is which?

Delete all of the Desktop Service Books (when you do this all your mail / calendar / etc sync will stop) ... and at the same time have your new hoster on the phone and ask them to "Resend Service Books to your BlackBerry". When they do this within about a minute you should have all the Desktop [CMIME], [CICAL], etc back and all your functionality.

Have a similar question, but for BIS. Recently used a WIND card in Italy, and was unable to get my BB service to initialize until I registered one of my email addresses with them. Obviously it created a service book there.

Now that I'm back in the US, (and in fact still when I was in Italy), I'm getting duplicate copies of email from that account. One goes into the proper account-specific mailbox, the other into the general mailbox only. I have to delete in both places to delete each mail. What a pain.

Can I get rid of this by deleting everything under the Service Books entry on my BB and then resend them from my US TMo account? Or will I need to do something else?

For the WIND card thing did you provide your email address and email password?

I know I provided the email address, don't recall on the password - I was a tad jet lagged when I did it.

Ok, assuming you didn't ... check your service books and delete anything with email addresses ... then login to your T-Mo account and resend service books.

Just the CICAL and CMIME for that address, or all of the books for all my email accounts?

:: update :: I deleted the two service books specific to that email address, with the specific mailbox disappearing from my screen, but I'm still getting double delivery into the general mailbox.

No, BIS.

I resent service books, the account recreated successfully on the BB, and I'm still getting double delivery. Dollars to donunts that I did have to give a password to the Wind account when I created it.

Try changing the password to your email account, and then update the BIS website. Should then fix the dupe problem.
