I found a VMware appliance http://www.tuxdistro.com/torrents.php?cat=442 with Windows 7 loaded. I'll have to wait for it to finish downloading to give any impressions, but I prefer to VM.

So I think you guys can read it whole news media is already came in from last year in 2008. Thanks all. Regards |
Just wondering, do they only have 1 version of the Windoes 7 Beta and it covers all language (ie. there are no Chinese Windows 7?)
Can you upgrade to that with XP? For the Beta version, how does it work when a full version is released? Is there a set time you are allowed to use and will get forced to upgrade? |

As far as expiry - it's time bombed. This may actually be in the desktop watermark in the lower right, but if I remember right the codepath for this lets you know it's expired in the form of a specific blue screen. |
No Thanks, MS
I downloaded Win7 Beta and the key. After reading how to dual boot, I decided to pass on this golden opp to provide MS with free R/D.
PM if you want my copy/key. |

Can you upgrade to that with XP? No, they doesn't have installed new Chinese languages with windows 7 yet. |
Still going rock solid. I'm finally used to the new taskbar, and I'm liking it a lot.
Of course, still a couple of rogue apps that don't play nicely with it. |

Upgrade to Win7 beta from XP = No Set time allowed to use it = Yes. It expires on August 1, 2009. What happens then = To continue using your PC, please be prepared to reinstall a prior version of Windows or a subsequent release of Windows 7 before the expiration date. You won't be able to upgrade from the Beta to the final retail version of Windows 7. |

Are you sure about Windows 7 will be full releases sometimes on August 1, 2009, am I correct? When the beta testing will be completely done? I will wait to see if I can hear any more new information from MS. I will let you know soon as possible. I should to have being patience for awhile. So otherwise, I won't able downloading Windows 7 beta for this time.

Has anyone run LR2, Ps CS3 or PsCS4? What's your impression of performance and its handling of large files?
I plan to wait till full version is released. |
