DVD decoder for Windows Media Player under XP

Suddenly, on the road, I find that I have no DVD decoder installed for Windows Medial Player.

I had thought it was part of the original package.

I must have somehow disabled that or uninstalled a needed plug in while responding to a "your hard drive is getting full" message.

So, recommendations? I am in Budapest for a few days, then will be travelling home and would love to watch a DVD or two on the plane.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Download a codec pack from http://codecpack.nl/klcodec380s.exe

That'll have all the codecs you need.

Thanks, ScottC. However when I click on your link, it tries to take me to

ftp.isu.edu.tw

but the page will not load. Any ideas?

I use VLC player to play all my video files including DVD. Did not have to install any codecs to get DVD's to play. YMMV
