Who makes the smallest roll-aboard?
I frequently have 1-2 night trips where my 22" Travelpro is just too big. Their rolling tote is a better size, but I couldn't figure out how to get a dress shirt in there without nasty creasing.
While in Italy last week, I noticed that a lot of travelers there have rolling carry-ons that seemed much smaller than the standard 21" or 22" ones that Americans travel with. I looked on eBags for a 17" or 18" rollaboard like what I saw in Italy, but can't seem to find anything. Anyone here know where I could find such a thing? |

or http://www.caselogic.com/22_expandab...?modelid=90744 I have not used either one of them. The 22" was featured in the Washington Post. |
This bag is marketed primarily to crews: http://www.baggallini.com/product1.a...t=%2716R110%27

I have the new 19" TravelPro Crew 6 and love it. Has features of bigger bags without the size and weight. The 22" bags look like behemoths beside it.

I bought a 16" roller from Costco last year that included a laptop carry case that slides into a pocket. It's a swiss army brand. The roller itself is a bit on the heavy side for its size. It holds a 15" laptop, has two compartments for cloths and stuff, the pocket for the laptop (which can hold other things) and a front pocket that's large enough to hold file folders. I've used it for about 2 dozen day trips over the past 8 months and have been using the laptop bag daily without any problems. It's probably been the best $70 I've spent.

Maybe this sin't the best place to ask, but I suppose there are new TravelPro Walkabout Lite models coming, if eBags and Macys are selling the old ones at less than 'half price'.
Have smaller models come out in the TravelPro entry-level 'Lite' line yet? They could do well for LHR-bound travellers. |

The water bottle holder is perfect for your sunglasses (mine are Maui Jim) in their massive, hard shell case. No joke!

I have one of these It would easily hold laptop in the back pocket (a 12" powerbook) and camera body in one side pocket and lens in the other. Inside comfortably fit shoes, a change of clothes, something to read, toiletries etc.
The bag is TINY and fit under the seat infront. Still can hold a lot. If I could only fit my 15.4" laptop in that back slip pocket...... /E |
Well, I ended up with this Tumi:
http://www.tumi.com/womens/travel/ca...?modelid=75990 Not exactly what I wanted, but I needed it right now, and the local store gave me a deal. So it will do for now. BTW, it's called a 20", but it seems a lot smaller than that. |

Here's a similar one, although not that small: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NODDY-KIDS-CHI...QQcmdZViewItem And, probably the same brand, but a nicer theme: http://www.thekidswindow.co.uk/Selling.asp?product=193 And I found a 12'' one: http://www.cartoonfansclub.com/spide...-luggage1.html SmilingBoy. |

I do occasionally see families going on holiday, and the 4-yo daughter has a really small roll-aboard - 10'' maybe? They are often pink and Barbie-themed so not sure whether this is what you are looking for :D
My wife called me from the mall today, to tell me she had found just what I was looking for - she asked me if I wanted a blue one with a troll on it or a pink one with barbie... |
