The rollaboard size to go to the UK from other EU countries is smaller than what's allowed in the US. There are tiny rollaboards all over europe. You can even get them in the bag shops on trouist streeets. Which isn't really helpful in the US :) But even Samsonite makes smaller rollaboards that you can't buy in the US.

My suggestion along wtih the others that have been posted are any of the wheeled laptop cases with extra space for clothes/personal items.
There's also a great Kenneth Cole Reaction bag from their "lite" material which is fantastic. Its frequently on sale at Macy's and the like.

I bought a 17" TravelPro very cheap at TJ MaXX. It works for me as it is small enough to put under the seat in from of mine on airplanes. It is basically a wheeled box with a zipper. Not much function. Just a handy size to have.
