Music Server

Any suggestions for a music server - I really don't want to use a PC and the problem with a MP3 player is batteries and keeping the thing charged.

What are other people doing to hold their digital music?

As nice as Sonos is, the last thing I need in my house is another device :)

Uh-oh. Sonos may have just given me a reason to add another device to my house. They now support FLAC.

Sound quality streaming FLAC to Sonos with some nice speakers will be infinitely better than streaming .mp3s via Tivo.

Generally, everytime we install Sonos we install a Buffalo linkstation. These are large capacity, network capable standalone harddrives with big storage
capacity.
