Did you get yours as a corp user? |
Yes, as a corp user using Cingular. I vaguely recall it being offered by T-Mobile though? As part of the United promo and/or Alaska air promo? I know the -G series was part of that...maybe it was the 7250 instead?

I mentioned this in the united forum, but www.ushopwireless.com has them for free. I got a 7100 from them. So far so good. I like the 7100 over the others, personally, and now that I have gotten the hang of the keyboard and am learning the shortcuts it great. I am still amazed at some of the seemingly obscure words it figures out. But, the stock theme sucks. I changed to the 02 theme with the water drop picture, and it looks pretty sweet. At least until more themes are available.

I've had a 7100g for two weeks. It took a day to figure out how to use the suretype keyboard. I took my first laptopless trip in 10 years two days after I got it, taking the second tomorrow.
I love this thing. |

Did you get yours as a corp user? T-mobile just started offering these to the unwashed masses today. 349.95 w/ one year commitment. The stores won't have them for a while, but you can get them on the web site. BTW to the poster above asking why they are called the blackberry: I was wondering this as well, when TravelKhatt who is not a technical person at all mentioned that she thought the name was really funny. When I asked why she explained that it looks kind of like a blackberry with the buttons representing the seeds of the fruit. |
Have had my BB for 24 hours and am wondering how do I surf FT from it?
Thanks |
