T-Mobile has the cheapest BB only service (US). There are rumors that they have new rate plans coming out next week with the introduction of thier new phone/BB.

Additionally, T-Mobile plans to offer customers bundled (voice and data) rate plans for the BlackBerry 7100t, starting at $59.99, that are easy-to-understand and affordable - this means big buckets of Whenever Minutes and unlimited email, unlimited text and instant messages, and unlimited Web browsing*. I dropped by our local store today. They had one of the mock-ups behind the counter and I got to play with it. Very cool size -- I'm looking forward to playing with a working model on Thursday or Friday. |
Does the current TMobile $39.95 plan include web browsing? It didnt seem that it did. From what I could tell of the pricing you would have to add unlimited internet to that plan for browsing. Also, in looking at the Verizon plan it seems to be $49.95 but it includes not only unlimited email but unlimited browsing. Again, havent looked into the plans in super detail but if my reading of these is correct TMobile might have the cheapest mail service but is more than Verizon (I cant believe I just typed those words in that order ;) ) for email and web browsing. Can anyone confirm this or explain how it is wrong?

BlackBerry Unlimited E-mail The BlackBerry Unlimited E-mail Plan is for customers who just want to use the BlackBerry's powerful data functionality, including unlimited e-mail, t-zones mobile information, and Web browsing along with 300 text messages for $39.99 per month. Voice calls are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis for just 20¢ per minute. It seems like the new voice/data BB plans that will be offered with the 7100t will be about $20 cheaper than the current plans. |

The web browsing is really slow on my 7230 w/T-mobile. No problem with speed on e-mails.

I think you should have success almost anywhere in Europe, as GSM is the standard here, and I believe GPRS connectivity is available almost everywhere. T-Mobile's web site can tell you more about GPRS roaming. |

What do you plan on doing with it, what are your needs, where will your travel with it, do you need any special features like Bluetooth or voicedialing? What kind of email setup do you use at the moment? Which Blackberry model are you considering? I can't simply answer with a "yes" or a "no", it depends on a lot of factors. I have buy this item with an auction, and I have paied It half of the original price ( it's new ! and last model ) so... I'm going to know if is a good item for who travel and if it works good ( like a phone, and for email ). ;) |

Good luck! |

Does the Verizon Blackberry browse at 1xRTT speeds? If so does this make a difference for browsing in real life? |

However, some tests done over at http://www.rimroad.com/ seem to indicate that it's not the network that's the slowdown, rather it's the browser. ReqWireless WebViewer, a third party browser, appears to render a page faster than the RIM browser. |
