Internet access in Paris

I'm booking a hotel near Champs-Elysees for July and I'm looking for unlimited Internet access. I have a reservation at the Prince de Galles but I don't think they have broadband. Can I get some advice?

Easy Everything Internet cafes, many WiFi hotspots in Cafe's nowadays and of course low-speed access through GPRS...

No they don't. They have data ports and rent modems just in case. But the hotel is great, let me tell you. Here an address you might look at:

I have made a search and could not find a single hotel with broadband.

This site says this hotel has high-speed internet access in the rooms.

Hopefully the Sofitel will work for you, but if not I can confirm that many Café's these days have WiFi (pronounced wee-fee here). One thing for U.S. travelers to worry about is the extra channel that Euro wi-fi has. Occasionally a hotspot will allocate channel 13 which U.S. wi-fi cards can't use. If that happens you can ask them to reboot the access point and hope it comes up with a different channel, or change cafés or buy a Euro wi-fi card.

Accor hotel group has WLAN in MANY French hotels (I've had it even in remote properties outside of major cities). The WLAN's are setup and run by Orange (France Telecom's wirless provider).

See: http://www.orange-wifi.com/ (sorry French only) Non US Visa cards seems to work fine on the registration pages when you get access for pay as you go.

I emailed the Prince de Galles and the happy reply was that they will have in-room high-speed Internet starting in April.

Thanks you all for your help.
