I live in a complete Apple Ecosystem, but as a traveler using AirPods Pros with the Twelve South aux adapter is hit and miss.. mostly hit but can be frustrating at times. Thought I would pickup the JBL Tour Pro 3. Reviews are pretty good, but the game changer is the case. While it has a display that may/may not be useful, it does have a USB-C to Aux cable to allow me to plug it directly into the plane Aux port. Really looking forward to my next trip at the end of the week to give them a long test to LHR and back.
Another feature that seems cool is that you can disconnect bluetooth and leave noise cancellation on..

B&W make a similar case, $399 is past my threshold for earbuds

NVM..
Non starter. As an Apple user it was a major ball ache
Had to pair manually to three devices
Update failed twice
Touchscreen case is not very responsive.
App is real kludgy and sends you to an online manual
Has a manual included that is a joke.. small and probably 15 pages
I suppose I need to stay within the Eco system where for the most part, things "just work"
