Need Tablet for Travel
I currently have a out dated Samsung Galaxy 7A Tablet I use primarily for books. I use to be able to have the United App on it, but because of the Android version 5 is so outdated it no longer supported.
Asking for suggestions for something about the same size 7 1/4" by 4 1/4". I am consider IOS. Like to keep cost about $100 or less, can go higher. Whatever it is want to use my Kindle account and download United App and be able to get to internet.
Travel Often, tired lugging laptop just to get to United App and my Galaxy Tab for reading.

I bought a used Apple iPad Mini 2 about 2 years ago for $100 off of Craigslist. It worked fine and used it for quite a while. I'd check there or perhaps on Swappa.com for a similar item. I recently bought a Mini 5 W/Cellular 256Gb memory off of Craigslist for $200, so there can be some real bargains out there. I sold my Mini 4 cellular, 64Gb for $325 the next week.
Edited to add: I just did a quick check locally and a mini 5 cellular is listed for $250 including an Apple Pencil. There are deals out there if you look.

Yes, I’m an iPad user but in looking online it has Android 11 released for it.

Open to suggestions for a replacement. Looking for smaller than 10", faster, well under $200, wifi only, and not Apple.

How do you like the A7? Reviews I've seen are mixed. I'm looking for a new 8" tablet to replace my Tab A with Android 7.1. It's gotten so slow it's a pain to use, some apps can't update, and the battery isn't holding a charge as long as it used to.

The tablet feels premium even though it is only about $110. I use it to read news and watch videos and such. Apps startup very fast and battery last a long time. I wish it has some kind of fingerprint sensor though. The face recognition is NOT good at all, so I either have to use pin or pattern to unlock it. Once in a blue moon it would see my face and unlock it.

I have the A7 Lite which is the smaller one than the A7. A7 Lite is 8.7" which I think is a good size. It is much faster than my old Samsung Tab E 8" tablet. That was the reason I switched from the Tab E because it has gotten super slow to use when starting up any apps.
