That explains it! I am in Australia at the moment and for some reason, I couldn't stay connected to any of the network at all. It didn't happen two days ago. Thought my brand new LG V30 was going on the fritz. This is very annoying though. A comment on the article posted above seems to imply that the fix may take 5-7 days. Totally blows for my trip! And my phone is locked so no local sim solution either.

Perhaps you should get a cheap hotspot and tether your phone.

5-7 days?! That better be a gross exaggeration.

Wow. I hope they fix it soon. I'm headed off to India soon and really need my phone to work. Ironically, most of the "free" wifi over there will only work by sending you a one time use code to your cell phone via SMS. So no roaming = no free wifi.

It's fixed now. Lasted most of one day but was up and running yesterday. No issues since.Glad they got on it quick!

Noticed the problem on my wifes phone on the 13th and just assumed it was a glitch after much troubleshooting on my own. Then we got to Prague later that evening and still had the problem and a quick chat with Tmobile support gave us the news they had an issue. Seemed to start working the next day 14th as we got to Doha it connected ok.

Is anybody else still having problems internationally?

We're in Lima, Peru and we had problems yesterday, the 17th. Data was very slow and I couldn't make a phone call to local or US numbers, other than T-Mobile 611. (I can make calls on wifi though.)

The rep said she'd call back to Mrs. Fredd's phone but that call failed.

My phone is slow to connect to internet as well. I don't know if it's a problem with my phone or something else.

On Jan. 1 Mrs. Fredd couldn't make or receive calls in Canada, although data worked fine, and my phone worked, so we've had more problems recently than we've ever had since switching to T-Mobile.
