This is what I've been looking for for a long time!

Read/compose/respond to SMS via your computer. Very cool.

New iOS 7 version finally out in Cydia today.

Amazing tweak! Wish there's one for WhatsApp as well.

How is this different from iMessage or just sending SMS's from Skype?

I've held off on JB until Saurik and others had time to update their tweaks. Have you jb already and are most of your favorite tweaks available?

Some people have telephones or other services that are not Skype or iMessage- in this way you can also communicate with them.

But this is an iOS apps. thread.

Apple claims over 80% of iOS devices being regularly used runs iOS 7, so they'd all have iMessage.

And Skype is widely used. Not sure if WhatsApp is more widely used.

Naver LINE has a desktop client which makes things easy. And of course iMessage on my Macbook is nice. Today my boss showed that he schedules SMS messages to go out. He is using a 'droid. Has anyone seen this for a non-JB iPhone?

You missed the point. With Skype you can send normal SMS messages to normal GSM phones.

And this app seems to be iMessage based, from what I can tell.

I use Skype from time to time to send normal SMS messages.

If the app is indeed iMessage based than I also am not sure what issue it is solving.

Normal SMS messages are not nearly as convenient as What's App of course because What's App can also work on wifi.

Skype sms costs a few pennies, right?
Line, WhatsApp, WeChat, even Google Voice all free
And of course iMessage but that's not cross platform.

Yes- the SMS can cost up to 0.20 each which adds up.

The other issue with Skype (or any other) SMS is that if you send a message to someone and they are for example on an airplane where they have wifi however not a GSM signal they can respond to a WhatsApp etc however they will not see nor be able to respond to the SMS. Particularly if flying across the Atlantic where you have services like Flynet you can communicate with people on the ground- although not still through your GSM device on most aircraft.

It allows you to use control your IM app on the iPhone from your computer. I type a whole lot better on my computer than on my phone.

Yes, it's working great, and 98% of my old Cydia apps are working. And I know this isn't "supposed" to be the case, but my iPhone 4S is running faster on ios 7 than it did on 6.

If I send message via iMessage via my Macbook, a reply only shows on MacBook and not iPhone or iPad, even though they share same apple ID. Does Remote Message work the same, or does show the original message and keep them in sync with other devices?
