with the moshi ivisor, just peel off the backing and stick it on. it should take around 15 seconds, at most. if it goes on crooked or a speck of dirt is trapped under it, simply remove it and try again or just peel it back enough to get the speck of dirt out. it won't lose its stickiness. there are no liquids to apply or bubbles to squeeze out. i have no affiliation, just a very satisfied customer.

I have tried two of the screen protectors from this series:
- Ultra Oleophobic
- Ultra Optics

The Oleophobic one is brilliant and I would recommend it highly. But the Ultra Optics one is complete rubbish and it really ruins the experience of using the iPhone's great hi-res screen.

The screen on my 4 seems pretty unscratchable with no protection, but I have a scratch on the back after only a few weeks of owning it. It's a company phone so I don't care too much, but kind of disappointing since the only thing in my pocket with it is a leather wallet.

Not that you would do it bc it's a work phone, but replacing the back glass is fairly inexpensive ~$30.

Aren't the front and back made of the same glass?

If you replace the front glass, you need to replace the LCD and touch sensor too - it was $199 last time I checked.

Really don't need a screen protector. I an tough on phones but haven't scratched a screen on a iPhone yet.

while traveling last week, i noticed that my colleague's iphone 4s screen looked way brighter and better than my iphone 4.....when I commented on how much better it was, he said that there isn't much if any difference....then he noticed my screen protector....Once I removed it, I felt like I had a new phone... :)

Zagg has the best protector IMHO but I would spring for the Lifeproof case...

Monoprice.com has lots of iPhone screen protectors, including matte, glossy, privacy, and even these weird mirror finish ones. I don't think any of them are over $3. I've had this $0.60 one for a few months now, and it's been fine. Interesting point about not needing them though. I suppose I have this fantasy that the screen protector will save the phone when I drop/wash/throw/blend it.

I bought one made by SGP and it was useless. Luckily they have a complete range of screen protectors, and I gave the oleophobic one a try and it was brilliant. So quite often it's not the manufacturer that's to blame but the type of protector we choose.

Hey all, OP here. I wound up getting this screen protector from Amazon. I chose it because of the built-in applicator, which makes it easy to get on and aligned.

I may just take it off. The screen protector feels like I'm using the phone through a condom.
