for foreign tourists vacationing in China?
I have been using Google+ for a while now and it is better than Facebook.
Unfortunately, like Facebook, it is not possible to access Google+ from
within China(excluding Hong Kong and Taiwan which are not under Chinese
central government control).
Thanks!
(P.S. am I allowed to give away Google+ invites here? if not, please ignore this question. thanks!)

setup a vpn, I use one from hotspotvpn.com. I have never had a problem with them and just finished up using it in china a few weeks ago. Had no problems getting to FB, g+, skype, etc.
They also have a hardware device, which basically gets internet from wifi or ehternet, manages the VPN on the DEVICE so YOUR devices that connect to it get VPN pass through without having to setup the vpn on all devices. this would make it very easy to have multiple laptops, ipads, iphones, android devices etc., all passing traffic through the hardware device without having to configure everything on every device.
The device is currently selling for free with a one year 99$ 256AES vpn package.
