Which weekender/duffel bag do you use ?

Hi guys,

I am looking for a stylish but durable bag to take as a hand luggage on flights and just for general travel and weekends away etc.
The one I currently use was from years ago and the zip keeps failing me so I am happy to invest in something of real quality this time around.

These are the two that I am currently considering:

https://www.troubadourgoods.com/products/weekender

Has anyone had any experience with these bags or even with something else from these brands ?
Any comments ?

Or perhaps another brand that someone has used and can recommend ?

A bit of a different thread but I think it's appropriate to this forum especially now that the "and Travel" part has been added to the forum title.

I’ve had many durable pieces of luggage from T.Anthony, and old New York brand that has both canvas and leather options.

For casual and durable small duffle bags, I have good luck with Bric’s. For hard sided luggage to check, I love Rimowa’s metal suitcases which are available in a couple of different colors including matte black.

The ones you are looking at look very nice, so I wouldn’t hesitate to give one of those a try. Thanks for posting.

I bought one from from Saintly Bags and really love it. Beautiful quality and totally customizable. The owner is very easy to communicate with and he’s flexible with your requests. If I had to do it over again the only thing I’d do differently is ask them not to put their Saintly logo on the bag (I asked afterward and they confirmed this is possible). http://saintlybags.com/

If I had the $$$ to spend, I would get the Saint-Laurent convertible bag below:

Filson 48hr duffel or their leather version is nice.

IMO, there is no better quality duffle than a Red Oxx. https://www.redoxx.com/

I carry a Red Oxx Sunchaser for weekend, overnights and three or four day trips. Great duffel, large compartment, padded bottom, roomy accessible pockets. Highly recommended.

Nizar-I personally use a North Face Base Camp Duffel. We have a few sizes of these, but usually for 2-3 day trips I'll grab the Small one.
Not what I'd call "professional" looking luggage, but practical and bulletproof.
I'm Holding out for a sale on Rodd & Gunn luggage. Would love one of their Large Weekenders!

I love my Red Oxx Aviator in Small.

I'll use a Eagle creek load hauler or Tom Bihn Western Flyer (not really a duffel but serves same purpose) depending on what I need to pack.
