I think that's accurate. It's not the heaviest blazer in my closet, it is the one I wear the most from now on, because I can't hurt it.

I just finished two weeks of travel with it in a carry on bag. As in - folded into the bag. Not hung on a hanger, not left to steam in a shower... dropped into either a Gate8 or a RedOxx carry on bag.

After all that was said and done, I found it in a pile of laundry on my bedroom floor. Picked it up - absolutely wrinkle free and looks fantastic.

I LOVE it.

Thanks. Just ordered one last night and am looking forward to adding it to my 'essentials' pile.

I just got the navy one back from getting the sleeves shorten as well. Fit and finish is nice. I kinda gained a bit of winter weight so its tighter around the abdominal area, but thats my fault.
I just need them to make a black chino now.

+1 to that.
But then most of my wardrobe is black already.

I'm guessing you want true black, but the charcoal is pretty dark, fwiw.

Edit to add this image. Got this from Bluffworks when I was inquiring about Stone color. Based on the ones I own, this is pretty spot on. Wanted to share with others as I don't think it is currently available on their site.

yea I have most of the colors minus stone/black/brown.. the charcoal is darker but a black in the rotation would be nice.

comparing chino and original, the pockets of the original are a little deeper, but the tailored cut of the chino is better fit for me.

Thanks for that. When you've gotten your replacement and worn it a while, would love your feedback.

Just for reference, I have a serious man-crush on this blazer.

I just rode around with it folded into a ball inside a duffel bag. (You read that right - take off blazer, fold it in half, then half again, then shove into a bag.)

That poor blazer rode around in the bag like that for a week or so. Took it out, shook it.. put it on... and went straight to a client meeting. (A client I actually care about, too.)

This blazer is incredible.

I bought mine a short while back. I really like it as well. I can wear it with a tie and look dressy, or wear it with jeans for a polished casual look. All while not worrying about wrinkles, etc. Not cheap, but for me, well worth the price. Especially with a 10% off code ;)

Anyone have this blazer and don't mind answering a few questions?

How much shoulder padding is there? I have large and wide shoulders, and I look ridiculous in blazers with big shoulder pads. I am hoping this blazer has little to no extra shoulder padding.

Is the material fairly light-weight? I hate going to restaurants that are "jacket required", but I do go to them sometimes. I am hoping this can be my one obligatory item that can fulfill this requirement when needed. I don't doubt the need for a dress code at some places, but I would rather wear a tie or anything else besides a jacket when I am eating. Restaurants are usually so hot, probably to accommodate the ladies in dresses (not knocking it - you look fabulous ladies), but then I am sweating like pig. Seems silly that I have to keep a jacket on to eat.

Anyhoo, feedback is much appreciated.

- There is no shoulder padding
- This is somewhat subjective, but I would say the jacket is fairly light-weight. From the scenario you described, I don't think you'd have any issues with the jacket and overheating.

Be mindful of sizing and remember they have free size exchanges. I love my BW blazer, and planning to buy a second one soon. Love that they now have matching pants to create a suit. It looks fantastic.
