Stayed at Jumeirah for one night where there were only three of the standard rooms left....none of which were ideal for me.

Ended up staying in room 911,...

Hasn't this been discussed before? Last I recall the legislation doesn't explicitly say anything about connecting flights, only about delay or cancellation, so some (and some cases) think no benefit...

This is for me the best bit about the new agreement, full miles and bonus on the cheapest BA flights back to AUS. Almost enough for me to fly back just for a weekend!
