Thanks for the suggestions. It sounds like the JW is still an acceptable choice when flying out from the new airport (and I would like to stay closer to town than the airport). I will remember to plan ahead for my 8PM departure from BKK.

Since I arrive late at night, it might make more sense for me to reserve a cab ahead. Any suggestions (and the approx fare)?

For my return trip to the airport, I'll rely on the bellhop to find me a cab (again, any pointers on the fare would be helpful).
