747 New C seat ?
Previously we have heard that the 747's are going to get new C seats. Do we know what these seats will look like?
The only new seat I have seen is the A380 seat (Asiana QS) but I recall reading somwhere that the QS seat is not suitable (certified?) for the 747. Does that mean TG will have a different C seat in the 747.......or worse will we be stuck with the slides?

TG representative told me that the 7442 will get the current 7443 seats.

Yes the refitted 7442 is still going to have angled seats in J.

It's not getting the 7443 seat. I heard it's going to get the 777-200ER angled lie flat seat.

Crazy if you ask me. When they know they have a new enhanced product coming with the A380 it is madness to install this product. I know there is the issue with the galley's but there has to be flat product out there that is suitable. It is just going to create TG roulette of a newer generation!

As I mentioned in this thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thai-...t-bkk-mel.html I think the older C class seat in the A345, A346 and 7443 is actually better than this 'newer' model.
