"Runtime error" message

I've just started getting a "Runtime error" popup message box on every page. The error is the usual unhelpful one of "Object expected". Line number varies from page to page, but is usually in the thousands - so I suspect something at the end of the coding.

Is this just me? Or is there a bug?

TIA!

It was "just me".

Problem traced to a batch of Windows Updates installed this morning: Now running fine after having restored the system to an earlier point (yesterday).

But I thought I might leave my original post up in case this helps anyone else.

[Edited to add:] The culprit was KB833858.

Isolating the point where it went wrong was the fast part.

Installing that batch of updates, one by one, to find (and then undo again) the one that caused the problem was ... tedious!
