Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; SHARP/WS003SH; PPC; 480x640) Opera 8.50 [en])

Works fine here, too, when I use Opera.
Does not work with Pocket IE though. The The useragent is already registered at wiforums.net.

Can anyone confirm? I would be surprised if it did not work at all, I thought I had read that it worked some, but had some display problems in Pocket IE because of some non standards compliance within P. IE.

works fine on a Treo - but seems a bit tough to navigate a lenghty thread (too many pages to load, one after another), though that is to be expected...thanks FT!

BTW, the device is a MDA PRO (aka UTC Universal, Qtek 9000, PDA IV, XDA Exec, Imate Jasjar). I was redirected to the wireless help page. Perhaps this is due to the fact that this device is the first with Windows Mobile 5.0 and has a VGA resolution?

However, I just checked the useragent string and it seems pretty generic and does not seem to reflect anything specific about the device: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320)

Have you hit the mime page with your PDA yet?

Yes, it says, "already registered" or something similar.

Great to get a mobile interface to flyertalk, BTW! Thanks for all the effort :)

This is a typical problem with WM devices, their browsers claim to be normal IE browsers... One option is to manually edit the user agent reference...

FWIW; opera on a JasJar and K-Jam works fine.

Same here (my PDA redirects to the wireless help page). PDA is HP iPaq 5550; user agent is "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; PPC; 240x320)" and OS is WinCE 4.2

On the wiforums.net/mime.php it says "The browser information for your particular WiDevice has already been submitted to the WiForums Device Compatibility Support Team"

On my Motorola Razr V3 all I get is "This page cannot be displayed". Will I not be able to access FT on my phone?

Does not work with Dell Axim X50v, which uses Windows Mobile 2003.

Well, it does work like a charm if you mean like a tiny ornament. :). It looks great, but I think reading posts one per page would end up being more annoying than slow page loads. What would really be cool is a way to set long pages for thread pages and fast, wap pages to navigate around with.

Either way, thanks for keeping up with the cool stuff!

I tried it on my Treo. I couldn't get to OMNI, but I was able to see some other forums.

This is MUCH better. :) 1000% improvement in readability and speed.

I agree it would be nice to have 5-10 posts display per page, instead of just one.
