Changing subscriptions to web2.flyertalk.com

Since we're apparently going to continue to have problems with flyertalk.com (mine have been timing out for three days), and all of my subscriptions automatically link to flyertalk.com, can someone advise me how to switch the subscriptions so that they link to web2? Thanks.

I'm gonna stick my neck out and suggest that the current "problem" will be essentially fixed by this afternoon!

I appreciate that, however, it might be nice to have the knowledge, as this (or a variation of it) has happend 3 or 4 times in the past several weeks. You, of all people, doc, must know how frustrating it is to have something to say and not be able to!

You'll probably have to manually make the changes to each link (load it up, let it 404, and then change the www to web2), since the www.flyertalk.com maps to either web1.flyertalk.com or web2.flyertalk.com depending on server load.

When an issue happens, it's usually web1.flyertalk.com that has "failed", which is why web2.flyertalk.com generally seems to keep working (though at a reduced level).

Hallelujah! I cannot wait until the FT I've come to know and love returns full force. I've been going crazy not being able to access FT for the past several days. I tried web2 this morning and it worked better than nothing but, yuk, it wasn't as good. For instance, the links from MYFT wouldn't completely load.
