just wondering why I can't access the CC thread considering I have 180 posts and have been on FT for 180 days?

Are you on a posting run? Looks like you've made 51 posts in the last two days and 100 since Christmas.

Merely 180 days and 180 posts are insufficient; the posts must be contributory and participative, not just pro forms posts hastily made to gain access to a member restricted forum. TCC Moderators can restrict access to those who have not met the spirit of the terms and conditions, and post counts can be reset.

Have you read the OP and the wikipost in this very thread you posted in?

If you did, you shall get the answers to all the possible questions related to CC Forum.

I have been on FT for more than a decade and def would have more than 180 posts, if not for merging of my old account back in sept 2018 with this new account. I am requesting access to coupon connection forum, if possible.

Have you contacted The Coupon Connection forum’s Moderation team, wharvey and Spiff?

They’d be your best resource, and could ask the account merge issue be followed up on if there’s an issue.

Yes, I don't have an account merge request involving you from that time, but it's always possible someone else handled it.

I have been on FT for more than 12 years now - I want to simply gift Hyatt Guest of Honor rewards that are expiring soon, hoping someone else will use them. Is it possible to get access to CC?

If you're happy to simply gift the awards, as stated above, there is no need for your offer to be on Coupon Connection. I would suggest:

1. You could post your offer to gift GOH awards in this thread where it will get more specific interest from folks active in the Hyatt program:

2. Start a new thread in the Hyatt forum, something like "GOH Award Giveaway." There is something similar to this in the American Airlines forum for SWUs.
In either case, I suggest giving the specific expiration dates (to avoid needless inquiries), and perhaps inviting people to DM their interest. The benefit of starting a new thread is it may encourage other folks with awards that would otherwise expire unused to make them available to fellow FTers.
