Okay... I've been posting for well over 9 months now, and I have never, EVER, had to do something like this... A fellow FTer pointed this out to me... Apparently if I mark the box "Remember Me", my problems should just vanish away... Low and behold, I haven't had any problems with posting on FT for the past 24 hours!!! Problem solved??? Tune in next week...

Still not keeping me signed in for an entire FT session. Four times tonight, having to sign in again in order to post in threads. "Remember Me" when signing in is not remembering me.

You should avoid using the IP address to get to flyertalk. The cookie is set by the domain and using the IP address seems to cause at least a few problems.

Glad to report that FlyerTalk is still "functioning" within normal parameters (for me that is)...

So far tonight I've been able to stay signed in for the duration of my FT visit, using the www, etc. Hope it stays that way.

After a few weeks without problems, its started again!

Every couple of pages, I am logged out. It happens totally at random, often when clicking from page x of a thread to page x+1. It has happened both with the IP address and the usual flyertalk.com domain.

Hopefully it will go away (again) as quickly as it appeared!

Since only a few people seem to have this problem I think it would be a wise idea to run a spyware scan on your PC, or to reinstall the OS. If this were a widespread problem I'm sure we'd be hearing about it a lot more often, there are usually >1000 people on FT at the same time, none of which seem to have this issue...
