Why can't I see a thread I tried to post in ORP?

Tried to create a new thread in ORP but never showed up. Is ORP not taking new threads, did I miss some notice or ?

I can't see one I posted last Friday.
Someone posted on another thread that all topics in ORP go into a moderation cue, that is moderated by Randy, before they get posted.

This explanation was posted in a thread on Only Randy Petersen over the weekend:

I suspect he'll make an announcement re soon.

Ask a valid question about something and it's moderator bashing. Must be so easy to think inside the box, CG.
As to the topics being vetted on ORP before being allowed to become a thread, IMHO

I just can't see the point of this.
Only new threads, not new posts in existing threads, go into the moderation queue. So if someone wants to bash a moderator, he or she can just hijack an existing thread with a new post. Nothing will have changed other than said post being less conspicuous on the board.
Thanks to everyone who has answered this question though; I posted it over on the "Avis forum needs a moderator" thread on ORP a while back.

I do not believe ANY new thread has been added to that forum for about a month.
