Problem logging out of FT
For the past several weeks, whenever I try to log out of FT, I always get a vBulletin message that says something like "There was a problem when we attempted to log out of FT. Please click the link below to log out".
Why is this happening? Anyone know or have similar problem? |
Same here.
|
I have the same problem.
And when I use the link to clear cookies the cookies don't in fact clear (I have to delete them manually). |
|
I did not experience this problem until only after the most recent software upgrade a few days ago.
Now this problem is consistent for me as well. I have always addressed it as flyertalk.com. |
www.flyertalk.com here
|
What browser?
We seem to have run into a problem with IE 6 corrupting cookies. Not a whole lot that we can do about that. Have you tried Firefox? :D |
The problem happens with both www.flyertalk.com and flyertalk.com using Safari 1.0.3 and Netscape 7.
|
Same for me since the latest upgrade. www.flyertalk.com
Incidentally I find when I click on a link http://flyertalk.com it logs me out and cannot log back in without closing the browser and reopening (ie the log in doesnt work). I find I have to check all links to see if they have the www or not before clicking on them. |

I did not have to do that before the most recent upgrade of the vBulletin software. When I clicked on “Log Out”, I was logged out. Now I have to undergo an extra (albeit rather minor) step. |
Thanks -- this is different than the problem that was previously reported.
We'll check it out. |

This has been fixed. Let us know if there are any further problems with this, when you click on the log out link now it should not give you the page that you where getting before, but one that says your cookies have been removed successfully... :)

--Tim I have always gotten the "cookies removed successfully" page but still when logging out, it doesn't actually log me out. When I go back to FlyerTalk, I'm still logged in. Firefox. |
Now tells me I've logged out successfully instead of giving me an error.. but I'm not actually logged out. Presumably an IE6 thing, lo siento.

--Tim Yes, it seems to be working again now. TYVM! |
I was having the same problem (IE 6) but after manually deleting all my cookies it ended. I can now log in and out.
|
The problem has been fixed for me.
Thank you, guys! |

Log Out is back to normal for me. It logged me out and then when returning to FT I was still logged out. Didn't have to clear any cookies manually. Windows XP Home SP2 IE 6.0.
Thank You! |
