"Forum" / new posts broken on mobile?
 

Apologies if there's a bug reports forum and I just can't find it. On Android mobile, I frequently just click on the "Forum" tab on the side to look at new threads - that link seems to be broken now, as it just brings me to an empty page that says "Page not found".

Not just on mobile - website has same problem.

Like you - I usually visited that page to look at new and hot topics.

I've been having the issue for at least 2 days now. I always used that page a my landing page for the site. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I don't have the same issue on my computer, but I think "new posts" points to a different page there (i.e. newest posts chronologically instead those deemed trendy).

Same, "new posts" works on my desktop too, now that I'm home. (I wish we had "new posts" on mobile too, instead of just trending!)

Already a thread on this. Unfortunately they are temporarily getting rid of the trending page, which is the forum landing page for mobile.

Ah, okay. What is supposed to happen when we click on the "forums" tab now (surely "page not found" wouldn't get past QA)?

You would think they just switch to the index page (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/index.php) but considering how bad an idea it is to get rid of the trending page to begin with, I guess going with the bad idea “lets not fix the mobile site and leave it broken” is the way to go.

New Posts is still functional. Both the mobile and desktop links are being worked on

Thanks! Aw man though, I was really hoping "Forum" was gonna link to "New Posts", because now mobile has no functionality for discovering new threads :(
