f you take the IP address you have at the hotel and check that it's not widely blacklisted by reputable companies, then it's possibly a manually loaded IP address block that Cloudfare did after FT/IB Admins/privileged actors loaded the IP address for blocking. Removing the block should be easy. That's what error 1020 suggests. |

Keep on getting blocked on the train Wifi (Great Western Railway) here in the U.K.

After working fairly well I once again am getting blocked from ANY VPN IP from either Private Internet Access or Express VPN. I don't use those to spoof my location, I use them for security. As an example, here is the IP address I recently used: 208.83.82.208 I get an error 1020.

It seems that Cloudflare is blocking the SNCF passenger WiFi. So up to 300,000 travelers each day on the TGV cannot access Flyertalk. No VPN involved.

Was trying to connect via VPN this morning. I use the Mozilla VPN which has its backend services provided by Cloudflare. Have always hit a wall. I understand the need to block spammers, but a travel forum for travelers that doesn't let you use a VPN when at an airport. *puzzled look*

I’ve seen cases where FT seems to be the only site for which Cloudflare puts up a block for some IP addresses that seem generally clear everywhere else with regard to US-based public sites.
