They're weird that way. From one page to the next it guesses what is an ad and what is a photo, etc. I may be wrong. But I can't think what else it could be.

OK... But the same exact results on 2 computers and 2 different browsers? Most images are blocked at work, but obviously I can see it in one forum but not the rest.

I'm currently running something on my home PC, so I'll disable the ad blocker and try again.

It is very weird.

I just disabled the ad blocker and verified I had no other add ons running on my home PC with firefox. Same results. I can only see the button in the reviews forum.

I wonder how many other people can't see it and just don't realize it. The only reason I knew it existed was because I was reading a hotel review thread in the hyatt forum and found the new format posted in there.

Did you try clearing your cache? CTRL-F5 a few times?

Mary2e Oct 14, 2015 4:12 pm

It clears every time I exit, but I will try that also.

I've hit Ctrl-F5 plenty of times, plus I restart my computer fairly regularly.

I will keep trying though.

Mary2e Oct 14, 2015 4:14 pm

Ctrl-f5 did it on the IE work machine. I can now see it in the Hyatt forum.

No luck yet on firefox. Is there an equivalent command?

Mary2e Oct 14, 2015 4:21 pm

Just to let you know.. on my home PC with Firefox I tried ctrl-f5 and it didn't work.

I then cleared all FT cookies, still with no luck. I then turned off ad blocker... same results.

But at least it's working on my other computer :)

FYI we have turned off cacheing on OUR end -- please let me know if that does anything.

IT WORKED!!!!!!!! I can see the button on both computers and browsers.

Thank you.

I feel a bit sheepish.... I received several emails from Internet Brands saying they wanted to use my reviews. I didn't respond because I didn't understand the purpose.

I have written extensive reviews, many with photos, at properties I have stayed at since I joined FT. Is it too late to be included?

i see button in some forums, but not hyatt forum, odd

they were asking about converting regular posts into new format, new forum includes conversions/copies of existing

Your browser probably has an old version cached.

Try ctrl-f5 a few times.

Hi m0hamed,

We would love to include any reviews you have. I'll send you an email with details!

Thanks,

I was in the Marriott forum & noticed a "review" icon on a thread. Click on the thread & it shows a review for 47 Park St. I stayed there many years ago, so clicked on the review - to find it was lifted from the Marriott thread & the review was from 2003 - 12 years earlier. And it's for a property that, while bookable on the Marriott website, does not earn points or allow you to redeem points.

But it was pretty ridiculous to see a review from 12 years ago listed

Cheers.

because they were importing

was this merge and move intentional?
